Join our new online patient community for New Zealanders affected by breast cancer

During October we celebrated the launch of mybc - a first-of-its-kind mobile app and website where New Zealanders affected by breast cancer can connect, share knowledge and celebrate milestones.

The app also provides access to specialist breastcare nurses and private portals where you can store information and track your own progress.

As well as being a great tool for patients, mybc offers a place for supporters to meet each other, exchange ideas, access resources and chat to breastcare nurses.

Whether you were diagnosed three days ago or three decades ago, are going through it yourself or are supporting a loved one, you'll have something to contribute to this community.

Fiona went the extra mile for breast cancer!

We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who fundraised for us during October. You hit the pavements, held events and collected on the street, and we couldn't be more grateful.

One of our most inspiring fundraisers this year was Fiona Taylor. After being diagnosed with a rare type of breast cancer in 2015, she set herself a big, hairy, audacious goal - and pulled it off, all while regaining control of her health.

Farmers customers raised an amazing total during October

Farmers customers and staff exceeded all expectations during October, raising a massive $291,000, a further increase on last year's huge total.

More than half of that came from generous donations at checkouts, with the rest coming from the sale of Boobeads, and the staff going Pink for a Day.

As a result, we're now able to reach more women with life-saving breast health messages. The total raised in Farmers stores will go towards our community education programme, all thanks to generous shoppers like you.
