  Researchers may have found a solution for chemo-brain


As many as 70% of cancer patients report memory loss, an inability to concentrate, impaired problem solving abilities, or some other kind of cognitive issue after chemotherapy.

  Fashion designer’s 'She Shed' fundraiser a big success for the NZBCF



Fashion Designer Tanya Carlsen created a luxurious She Shed for the Great Kiwi Home and Living Show, as a fundraiser for the NZBCF.

Dunedin man Dave Knox was thrilled to pick up the She Shed for a great price at the auction, as well as a Man Cave designed by rugby legend Stephen Donald.

• Step inside the pages of NZ House & Garden  NZ House & Garden Tours are back in 2017, with tours in Hawke's Bay, Tauranga, Christchurch, Wanaka and Auckland. The tours are in support of the NZBCF to fund programmes in each of the five regions. With a stunning mix of beautiful houses on show, there is something for everyone. Buy your tickets at the NZ House & Garden Tours website.

•  Help needed at the NZ House & Garden Tours in Tauranga, Hawke's Bay, Christchurch and Wanaka  The NZBCF need volunteers to help us run these successful tours, which raise vital funds. Volunteers will be needed for 4-5 hours for either a morning or an afternoon shift, and will be stationed at each of the houses helping with security, car parking and the flow of visitors. If you'd like to volunteer, contact Erika or call (09) 304 1220 for dates and locations.

•  Run Round the Bays with the Pink Ribbon Active team Run Round the Bays to fundarise for the NZBCF! We're pleased to offer discounted places for anyone who chooses to fundraise for the NZBCF. Places are limited, so contact us now to secure your spot.
